PKSCA’s gift to the City of Khabarovsk in May 2011 was an antique Native American medicine bag, representative of the two cities’ shared history of interaction with indigenous populations.
A huge banner celebrating Khabarovsk’s then 154 year history greeted PKSCA’s 2012 delegation at Lenin Square in Khabarovsk.
The previous year’s gift from PKSCA may have suggested a visit to the Khabarovsk region’s pre-historical monuments during the May 2012 Day of the City celebration. Pictured here are Susan Jones (left) and Pattie Pulliam.
